Requirements
- Completion of a Dental Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma.
- EFDA Certification
- CDA and/or RDA Certification
- DANB RHS Certification
- Xray Certified
- At least three years of experience as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
Nice To Haves
- An associate degree is preferred.
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach EFDA courses.
- Provide academic advising to students.
- Participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
