About The Position
To perform electro neurological diagnostic studies consisting of EEG's, EMG's, Evoked Potentials, Transcranial Doppler's, and hook up/editing Long Term Seizure monitoring studies. This position is ECB status – requires a minimum number of worked hours per month as needed by the department; limited benefit offerings. Days Shift: Varied between 7a-5p, must be available M-Sat, 20-30 hours a week expected. This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act (OMMA).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0-6 months of related experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to integrate the analysis of data to discover facts or develop knowledge, concepts or interpretations.
Responsibilities
- Perform Evoked Potential studies. (VEP, BAER, SSEP).
- Provide long-term EEG monitoring for seizures, including the hook up of patients.
- Perform EEG's.
- Perform EMG's.
- Provide surgery monitoring of the above listed studies.
- Perform Transcranial Doppler's.
