About The Position

The EEG Technologist performs electro neurological diagnostic studies including EEGs, EMGs, Evoked Potentials, Transcranial Dopplers, and hook-up/editing of Long Term Seizure monitoring studies. This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 0-6 months of related experience, preferably in healthcare. The position involves integrating data analysis to discover facts or develop knowledge, concepts, or interpretations. The employee coordinates activities of others without supervising, works directly with patients and/or customers, and interacts with internal customers via telephone or face-to-face. This role also involves working with Healthcare professionals and staff. The position is located in the Neurophysiology Laboratory on the Yale Campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It has been identified as a safety-sensitive position under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 0-6 months of related experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to integrate the analysis of data to discover facts or develop knowledge, concepts or interpretations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Evoked Potential studies (VEP, BAER, SSEP).
  • Provide long-term EEG monitoring for seizures, including the hook up of patients.
  • Perform EEG's.
  • Perform EMG's.
  • Provide surgery monitoring of the above listed studies.
  • Perform Transcranial Doppler's.
