About The Position
The EEG Technologist performs neurological diagnostic studies, including EEGs, EMGs, evoked potentials, and transcranial Doppler studies, and hooks up and edits long-term seizure-monitoring studies. The role performs these studies for patients and provides surgical monitoring. This position is based in the Neurophysiology Laboratory at the Yale Campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to integrate analysis of data to discover facts or develop knowledge, concepts, or interpretations.
- Ability to carry out non-routine procedures under constantly changing conditions, following general instructions from a supervisor.
Nice To Haves
- 0–6 months of related experience, preferably in healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Perform evoked potential studies, including VEP, BAER, and SSEP.
- Provide long-term EEG monitoring for seizures, including patient hookups.
- Perform EEGs.
- Perform EMGs.
- Provide surgical monitoring of the listed studies.
- Perform transcranial Doppler studies.
