About The Position

The Neurodiagnostic team is comprised of EEG Technologists, EEG Technicians and Neurodiagnostic Assistants. These individuals work together to set up patients with appropriate equipment, allowing for monitoring and recording of electrical activity of a patient’s brain waves. This in turn allows us to provide physicians proof of any brain abnormalities. The team provides support for Butterworth, Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, Blodgett, 25 Michigan and 35 Michigan. Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital is a leading pediatric facility with over 350 pediatric specialists and subspecialists, a history of national rankings, and a commitment to innovation. The hospital has both inpatient and ambulatory spaces, as well as a Level 1 trauma Emergency Department designated for children. The EEG Technician is an entry to mid-level position that performs EEG procedures according to department and Corewell Health policy and procedures.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or Equivalent Required
• 6 Months Relevant Neurodiagnostic/EEG Experience Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days

Nice To Haves

• Associates Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electro neurodiagnostic (END) Program Preferred
