EEG Technician (Full-Time, Temporary, Days)

The EEG Technician performs standard EEGs in all settings. Enloe Health is a Level II Trauma Center located in beautiful Northern California. Requirements
- Current CPR certification
- Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T.) (within 18 months of hire)
Nice To Haves
- Two years of hospital experience performing standard EEGs.
Responsibilities
- Performs standard EEGs in all settings.
- Ability to learn to perform standard wake, drowsy and sleep EEG tests with general supervision.
- Ability to learn to perform complex EEGs including extended and continuous EEGs with and without video.
- Perform patient scheduling and charge entry.
- Demonstrate technical competence, professional judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis.
- Fulfill the essential functions of the position.
