About The Position

Ensures accurate performance of EEG tests as requested by physicians. Manages and reviews patient records and interviews patients to obtain additional information. Prepares patients for procedure by attaching monitoring devices and explaining test procedures. Sets up and calibrates necessary equipment. Oversees patients during testing, monitoring patients’ status and recording observations. Analyzes test data to ensure appropriate data is collected. Reports test results to physicians for further analysis. Supervises the maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensures work area is clean, and institutes quality control procedures. Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs minor repairs. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
