Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
One year of full-time experience in a Neurodiagnostics Lab.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree.
Applying to or already enrolled in a CAHEEP Neurodiagnostic Program.
Experience in a healthcare, biotechnology, or biosciences related field.

Responsibilities

Performs procedures, recording, analyzing, and diagnosing various physiological monitoring functions, with the variety of devices, equipment, or techniques.
Facilitates processes to maintain successful inventory levels and cost-effective practice of supply management by team members, including supportive strategies for cost-containment.
Demonstrates abilities and competencies in performing procedures, recording, analyzing, and diagnosing various physiological monitoring functions, with the following devices, equipment, or techniques: Modalities may include EEG, Intra Operative Neuro Monitoring (IOM) and data analysis; Other equipment relevant to position.
Follows Infection Control Guidelines for maintaining cleaning and use of non-disposable equipment.
Must have a working knowledge of mathematics and science courses (anatomy and physiology).
Must be able to carry out assigned duties effectively.
Requires a broad knowledge of principles of electroencephalography.
Must be able to work with state-of-the-art technology.
Have good verbal and written communication skills.
