This PRN position involves preparing patients for and assisting neurologists with all technical aspects of EEG testing. The role performs EEG tests as needed by the department/facility, assists with EEG reporting processing, and contributes to all department functions. Key responsibilities include patient preparation, electrode application, performing EEG tests, maintaining safety and infection control, coordinating and preparing EEG studies for interpretation, attending meetings, maintaining records, assisting with performance improvement, and maintaining clinical competencies. The role also involves serving as a preceptor for new employees and performing 24-hour ambulatory EEG studies.
