About The Position
As a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher at Primrose School of Andover, you will create a fun, safe environment where children can explore new concepts through multisensory learning, strengthen kindergarten readiness skills, and grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, creatively, and physically. The role uses the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and its daily lesson plans to support children's learning and development while building meaningful connections with them. The school describes its Leadership Team and faculty culture as supportive and collaborative.
Requirements
- Massachusetts EEC certification.
- Previous experience leading a group of students.
- Full-time availability Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM, with a rotating schedule.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the daily activities and routines of a classroom of 4- and 5-year-old children.
- Assess and monitor each child's developmental progress and individual needs.
- Implement approved lesson plans and daily schedules in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum.
- Communicate and collaborate professionally with families and fellow faculty members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Attend required staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.
