EE Lab Manager
About The Position
Harbinger is an American commercial electric vehicle company developing a platform for medium-duty electric and hybrid vehicles. The EE Lab Manager oversees daily operations and infrastructure for the EE Lab, including its equipment, testing capabilities, and inventory. The role manages wiring harness technicians and work assignments, develops lab capabilities for current and future power electronics and hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) testing needs, maintains equipment maintenance and calibration schedules, enforces safety standards, and tracks lab expenditures against departmental budgets.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Lab Manager, preferably managing a power electronics or electrical lab in the automotive or aerospace industry.
- Experience managing technicians.
- Experience with tools such as Jira and Coupa.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of 2D drawing layout.
- Motivation to learn on the job and take ownership.

Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the EE Lab.
- Develop and maintain EE Lab infrastructure, including equipment, testing capabilities, and inventory management.
- Manage wiring harness technicians and assign their work.
- Develop the lab to meet current and future power electronics and HiL testing needs.
- Track equipment maintenance schedules and calibration.
- Review incoming work requests and manage technician assignments.
- Enforce high safety standards.
- Track lab expenditures against departmental budgets.
