Meet AASD: Career Exploration and Recruitment Event
About The Position
Join us for our Meet AASD: Career Exploration and Recruitment event on Thursday, August 13th between 12:30pm and 3:30pm at Einstein Middle School. This event is an opportunity to chat with administrators, learn more about the district, and hear about opportunities for teachers, support staff, and coaching for the 2026-27 school year. It's also a chance to learn about different pathways to teacher licensure, including turning a bachelor's degree or skilled trade experience into a teaching certificate, and hearing about FVTC's Foundations of Teaching program. We have anticipated vacancies at all levels in the areas of Regular Education and Special Education Educators and Paraprofessionals, English Learner Interpreters (Swahili, Dari/Farsi, Hmong and Spanish), Co-curricular coaches, Transportation Aides, and Substitute Staff. On-site interviews may be offered.
Requirements
- Interest in working in the AASD
- Considering becoming a teacher
- Bachelor's degree or skilled trade experience (for teacher licensure pathways)
- Interest in Regular Education and Special Education Educator and Paraprofessional roles
- Interest in English Learner Interpreter roles (Swahili, Dari/Farsi, Hmong and Spanish)
- Interest in Co-curricular coach roles
- Interest in Transportation Aide roles
- Interest in Substitute Staff roles
