About The Position
Advantage Charter Academy, a B-rated school serving over 600 K-8 students in Baker, LA, is seeking an Educational Technology Coordinator. This part-time position involves managing, deploying, and repairing school-based technology, providing technical support for devices critical for virtual learning, and collaborating with the leadership team and technology teacher to offer professional development on new technology.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with parents, staff, and students.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
Nice To Haves
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in education, technology, or in pursuit of similar degree.
Responsibilities
- Manage, deploy, and repair school-based technology.
- Provide technical support, including hardware repairs for Chromebooks and other devices critical for virtual learning.
- Collaborate with the school’s leadership team and technology teacher/LTS to provide professional development for new technology.
