About The Position
Educational Support Professional assigned to Special Education at Furnace Brook Middle School. This vacancy is due to a one-year leave of absence and is for 35 hours per week during the 2026–2027 school year. The position starts as soon as possible. The role works with students with special needs and collaborates with teachers as part of the Special Education team. The position reports directly to the Special Education Department Head, Building Principal, and Assistant Superintendent Student Services.
Requirements
- Strong desire to work with children with special needs.
- Ability to work effectively with teachers.
- Experience working with children at the middle school level.
- High personal integrity, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of the Special Education team.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree and/or BS/BA in education preferred.
