The Education Program Manager provides leadership, oversight, and strategic coordination for Enlace Chicago’s education initiatives, ensuring the effective implementation of high-quality programs that support youth, families, and schools. Working across multiple sites and program areas, the Manager oversees program planning, staff supervision, partnership development, grant compliance, and continuous improvement efforts to advance educational equity, youth development, family engagement, and community impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in education or social service required or 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Bilingual Spanish/English (speaking and writing) required

Responsibilities

  • Leads the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of education programs across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, school priorities, and community needs.
  • Ensures full compliance with public and private funding requirements by overseeing reporting, data collection, evaluation processes, and timely submission of all required documentation.
  • Supervises and supports site-based coordinators and staff while serving as a liaison between schools, leadership teams, and external partners to promote collaboration, communication, and accountability.

  • Paid time off. You will receive 96 hours of Upon Hire hours, which will be prorated depending on your start date. After your 3rd month, you will accrue 3.33 hours per pay period or a total of 6.66 per month . All vacation days are considered above and beyond the approved holiday schedule. Enlace has 12 paid holidays with a Holiday week between Christmas and New Year’s Day that will not be deducted from your PTO.
