About The Position
Adelphi is seeking Educational Diagnosticians to provide services to students at schools in Katy, Texas. The ideal candidates will conduct comprehensive educational assessments, interpret evaluation results, determine eligibility for special education services, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the development of appropriate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Requirements
- Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification
- Master’s degree in education, special education, or a related field
- School-based assessment and special education experience
Responsibilities
- Administer, score, and interpret educational and psychological assessments.
- Prepare compliant Full and Individual Evaluation (FIE) reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in ARD committee meetings and assist with developing or revising student IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related-service providers.
- Maintain FERPA-compliant confidentiality and comply with federal, state, and District requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
