About The Position

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a compassionate Educational Diagnostician to help students and schools identify student needs and secure appropriate educational resources. The role includes conducting psycho-educational assessments to determine eligibility and the need for specialized services, communicating evaluation findings clearly and compassionately to parents and district staff, and collaborating with teams to develop evidence-based interventions that improve student performance, participation, and access to education. The diagnostician also participates in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, parent conferences, and other discussions to help ensure special education programs meet students’ needs. Requirements

Master’s degree from an accredited university in Special Education or equivalent.
Current Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification.
At least one year of experience as an Educational Diagnostician.
Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.
