About The Position
As assigned by Special Education Director, implement the Special Educational assessment process. Assess the educational, learning styles, and program needs of students referred to special education services.
Requirements
- Master's Degree
- Valid Texas Certification in any of the following: Educational Diagnostician Certification, Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
- Classroom Teacher experience
- ARD IEP experience
- Formal Assessment experience
- Experience working with special needs individuals in an educational setting.
- Organizational skills
- Good communication
- Interpretation of Assessment Data
- Special Education Regulations
- Ability to work with a team in collaborative manner
Responsibilities
- Implement the Special Educational assessment process.
