Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited university in Special Education or equivalent.
• A current Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification.
• At least one year as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments to determine students’ eligibility and need for specialized services.
• Review evaluation findings with parents and district staff, providing clear and compassionate communication.
• Collaborate with teams to create evidence-based interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to ensure special education programs meet every student’s needs effectively.
