About The Position
Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join a district team in Newark, NY, under the NY HELPS program for the '25-'26 school year and beyond. This role focuses on providing vital support to a K-12 student population to ensure auditory access within the learning environment. The position involves overseeing a caseload across various school campuses, requiring travel between locations, and managing assistive listening devices. Collaboration with instructional staff to optimize classroom acoustics and support student communication goals is also a key aspect of the role.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Audiology
- Valid New York State Audiology License
- Must have reliable transportation to support service delivery across the district
- Qualified for NY HELPS non-competitive appointment
Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic and rehabilitative services for a K–12 student population.
- Ensure auditory access within the learning environment.
- Oversee a caseload distributed across various school campuses, requiring consistent movement between locations.
