About The Position

Become an Educational Assistant at St. Mary Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year and make a difference everyday! You’ll play a pivotal role in empowering students to reach their full potential. This role will primarily be in the Kindergarten classroom in the morning, and have varied assignments in the afternoon. Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Works well with children
• Knowledge and comfort level verbal and math skills up through middle school
• Basic competency in computer skills
• Resourceful & creative to proved adaptations for students
• Self-starter
• High energy
• Ability to adjust to daily changes in task schedule
• Adapts well to a variety of tasks
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Problem-solving and decision making ability
• Team player

Nice To Haves

• Some post higher training in education preferred

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission of Bishop O † Gorman Catholic Schools
• Tutor/support students in all academic areas
• Administer make-up tests
• Monitor student progress and keep records
• Confer with supervising teachers
• Perform various duties as assigned
