About The Position

This position involves providing educational support to students under the direction of licensed staff, supervising students in various settings, and monitoring for safety concerns. Additionally, the role includes carrying out the daily operations of the school-based library media center, facilitating student and staff access to resources with support from the District Media Specialist.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
  • Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
  • Experience working with children
  • Knowledge of library practices, terminology and procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred (bilingual is defined as fluency in reading, writing and speaking two languages as determined by District screening tool)
