About The Position
U.S. Healthcare Services provides in-home based services to students throughout Pennsylvania who attend Charter School. We are currently looking for a One-to-One Educational Aide to provide support services to a 9th grader near Cornwells Heights, PA. This opportunity will be in-person during the school day. Opportunities are for per-diem independent contract work that is flexible and convenient.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Experience working with children
- Able to obtain clearances
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one assistance and encourage participation in live online sessions.
- Implement Positive Behavior Support Plans for student under direction of BCBA, Behavior Specialist, or other assigned behavioral therapist.
- Assisting with activities such as drill work, reading aloud, and story-telling.
- Preparing and setting up materials for student participation, following teacher direction.
- Alerting the teacher to any problems or special information about the student.
