About The Position

A Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is a 5-year project that challenges the College to improve student learning outcomes and success. QEP Student Success Fellows provide their insight on the challenges and barriers to success that students encounter, as well as provide a student perspective on effective, quality instruction and the learning environment at Santa Fe. Work schedule is flexible and will be during the College's operating hours. On average, this position will be scheduled 15~ hours a week.

Requirements

  • Must be a currently enrolled Santa Fe College student, in good academic standing, taking six (6) or more credit hours.
  • A criminal background check will be conducted.
  • Must maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a student consultant and provides feedback on the student experience.
  • Provides structured feedback to faculty, administrators, and staff about the effectiveness of proposed interventions.
  • Co-leads campus panel discussions, focus groups, and other forums to raise awareness of the student experience.
  • Complies with all published College Rules, procedures, guidelines, and laws/regulations governing public employees, including but not limited to those related to document retention and destruction, FERPA, and confidentiality.
  • Provides service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
