Full-Time Education Tech - School Aide
About The Position
Morrison Center School is seeking Full-Time Ed Techs for their Scarborough Location. As an Ed Tech at Morrison Center School, you’ll be part of a larger, community-focused organization that values both professional excellence and team culture. Working with students with autism, physical disabilities and cognitive challenges, through experiential learning functional life skills and community integration. Requirements
- Ed Tech II: 60+ college credit hours from an accredited institution
- Ed Tech III: 90+ college credit hours from an accredited institution
- BHP certification training available upon hire
- Ability to learn and grow in the field of special education and behavioral support
- Ability to be on site in Scarborough, Maine, Monday - Friday 8am - 3:30pm
- Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities
- Support classroom instruction in individual and group settings
- Assist students with daily living skills, including feeding, toileting, and mobility
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking
- Foster an organized, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in ongoing training in BHP, CPR/First Aid, and Crisis Intervention
- Communicate with families and team members to support holistic care
