This 1:1 position will be assigned to a 6th grade female student who requires toileting assistance. The role involves assisting a certificated teacher with instructional and personal care needs for students with a broad range of disabilities, including medically fragile, orthopedically impaired, developmental, physical, and/or behavioral. The position provides academic interventions and may include assisting students with activities of daily living. Staff will be required to complete district-provided training on the Fundamental Course of Study, with specific deadlines for completion. A General Paraeducator Certificate is required, which is earned by completing ten days of professional development training.
