About The Position
The Education Specialist provides health education programs and services through the WakeMed ENERGIZE Program in collaboration with community partners. The role assists with screening and assessment of children and families at risk for developing diabetes. The specialist develops and implements educational content and provides group and individual healthy lifestyle education to ENERGIZE participants with varying abilities, ages, physical conditions, and limitations. The role also assists with classroom data collection and ENERGIZE! program implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- One year of experience in education, teaching, and facilitation of learning required.
