Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in education, tutoring, or instructional support preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage adult learners.
• Ability to adapt to different instructional settings and follow established curriculum.
• Flexibility and reliability to serve as a substitute in various classroom environments.
• Knowledge of adult education principles and cultural competency is a plus.
• Additional education or training in education or related fields is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a substitute instructor or educational support staff member as assigned, ensuring seamless classroom operations.
• Deliver lessons and educational activities in accordance with established curriculum and lesson plans.
• Support adult learners in achieving their educational, language, and employment goals.
• Assist with classroom management and student engagement to promote a positive learning environment.
• Support program activities and administrative tasks as needed to facilitate effective program delivery.
• Collaborate with full-time staff to ensure continuity of instruction and student support.
