Education Reporter - Travis County and AISD
About The Position
Our Education Reporters help inform students and parents in their communities by providing important updates on tax rates, expansions and ballot measures in their local school board and community college districts. By attending school board meetings, connecting with district officials and networking with other community leaders, our Education Reporters disseminate news that is central to the lives of our communities’ residents. Does reporting unbiased, hyperlocal news for readers in a major metro market sound exciting to you? The stories our Reporters write are delivered directly to tens of thousands of readers’ homes and are engaged with on digital platforms every day. Requirements
- Ability to work outside of regular office hours to attend community meetings
- Ability to be out in the communities we serve taking photos and connecting with sources
