The education programs and outreach manager oversees all aspects of South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity’s educational offerings and community engagement initiatives. The manager is responsible for setting and attaining the organization’s annual education and outreach goals, which includes developing and delivering mission-critical education classes. The curriculum will prepare people for homebuying and include topics such as eligibility for our homeownership program, loan readiness, debt management, credit improvement, building and maintaining financial health, and budget creation and management. An additional second suite of offerings will support people on how to be a successful homeowner, including information on neighbor relationships and conflict resolution, managing shared community spaces, maintaining the home, emergency preparedness, estate planning and more. The manager will establish and maintain partnerships to enhance community awareness and participation in all programs and continuously explore opportunities to grow and innovate engagement initiatives.
