The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Geriatric Medicine, in Hershey, PA, is seeking an Education Program Specialist. The Education Program Specialist identifies, develops, delivers, manages and evaluates a portfolio of educational programs or initiatives from conception to evaluation; provides leadership, consultation, program coordination, technical assistance and related services in the field of education/training; evaluates and prepares recommendations for ongoing and proposed programs; develops and maintains relationships with academic units, organizations, industry and agencies to determine programming needs. Identify, develop, manage, deliver, and evaluate educational programs and related materials; consult and assess client needs Determine curriculum objectives, goals, and evaluation tools; analyze and assess program outcomes Develop course materials including publications, web content, and presentations Review and maintain program compliance Develop and implement marketing plans for educational programs and services Generate and prepare reports; gather and analyze data and make data-informed recommendations Cultivate, develop, and maintain relationships with community organizations, government agencies, and businesses on the local and national level Develop proposals and contracts; administer program grants As part of the RISE grant, develop, manage, deliver, and evaluate the dementia care force educational programs and related materials. Consult and assess the effectiveness of division programs. Determine curriculum objectives, goals, and evaluation tools; analyze and assess program outcomes. Cultivate, develop, and maintain relationships with community organizations, long term care staff participants, regional partners to advance efforts of the educational programming.
