State Fair Community College (SFCC) is seeking a full-time Education Program Coordinator based at the Sedalia campus. This position is responsible for teaching courses in the Elementary Education (EDUC) program. The instructor will provide high quality instruction using a variety of delivery modalities, support students through academic advising and engagement, recruit for the program, and serve as Program Coordinator program as well. This position plays a key role in maintaining program quality, relevance, and alignment with workforce and transfer expectations. A significant emphasis will be placed on building enrollment through active recruitment, cultivating relationships with regional high school programs, and creating a welcoming, engaging environment that supports strong retention of students throughout their academic journey. In addition, this person will assist teaching classes within the early childhood development program as needed based on class and instructor availability. Classes will be predominantly on the Sedalia campus but may also include extended campus sites and online at discretion of the Associate Dean. This position has a projected start date of August 1, 2026. This position reports to the Dean of Academic Affairs and Associate Dean of Arts, Human Services, Education and Early Childhood.
