About The Position
TES Staffing is holding Education Open Interviews every Wednesday in August and September from 1 pm-2:30 pm at their office located at 600 Park Ave, Rochester NY 14607. These interviews are for qualified candidates seeking positions within the Rochester City School District, Charter Schools of Rochester, Greece Central School District, Rush-Henrietta Central School District, and East Irondequoit School District. Open positions include Substitute Teacher (Long Term and On-Call), Special Education Teacher Aides (Temp to Hire & On-Call), Substitute Teacher Aides/Paraprofessionals (On-Call and Long-Term), Substitute Lunchroom Aides (On-Call and Long-Term), and Substitute Clerical/Administrative Support (On-Call and Long-term).
Requirements
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to be flexible with schedule
- Mandatory pre-employment background check
- HS Diploma or GED for Para/Teacher Aide Positions
- Around one year of experience working with children, or people with disabilities for Para/Teacher Aide Positions
- HS Diploma or GED for Clerical/Administrative Position
- One or more years of Clerical/Admin/Receptionist experience for Clerical/Administrative Position
- Experience working with children, people with disabilities, or experience working in a food service capacity for Lunchroom Aide Positions
- Bachelors Degree Required for Substitute Teacher
- One year of related childcare experience required for Substitute Teacher
Nice To Haves
- Certified Teachers Highly Preferred for Substitute Teacher
