About The Position

The Education department interns will help plan, prepare for, and implement arts-based educational experiences for diverse audiences. They will learn about daily practices within the museum profession and further develop their appreciation and understanding of masterworks on view in the galleries. Interns will facilitate a 30-minute gallery discussion at the end of the internship cycle, informed by provided readings, supervised research, and practice sessions.

Requirements

  • A resume describing any work or extracurricular experience.
  • A cover letter explaining what you hope to gain from participating in the Kimbell internship program.
  • An unofficial transcript.
  • Two letters of recommendation.
  • Four academic or professional references.
  • Must be able to pass a standard pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
