Requirements

  • 4 - 7 years of experience in training curriculum development or instructional design, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or a medical support setting.
  • Experience working within an enrollment team or similar patient-facing administrative healthcare function, either as an enrollment team member or trainer.
  • Experience developing and delivering both instructor-led and self paced/virtual training programs.
  • Familiarity with onboarding processes, especially in regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards required.
  • Training expertise: experience facilitating and building staff training, with a well-developed instinct for how to build engaging training and clear materials that drive staff proficiency and success.
  • Healthcare experience: experience building learning and development programs in highly regulated healthcare environments.
  • Data savvy: comfortable with data, spreadsheets, and experience leveraging data and building reports to measure the effectiveness of training programs and identify trends.
  • Collaborative approach: ability to seamlessly collaborate with cross-functional teams including Enrollment Management and Team Leads, as well as HR, Compliance, Operations, and IT.
  • A patient-first approach: personally motivated by the mission and by what is being built. Seek to understand problems and help people solve them.
  • Operational orientation: creating and improving processes is second nature; build repeatable, reliable, and efficient processes and be able to train others accordingly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage comprehensive Enrollment Specialist onboarding program for new hires, including Thyme Care onboarding and job-specific training on enrollment workflows and operations.
  • Lead live, virtual training sessions for new hires throughout onboarding and ramp-up.
  • Develop clear, engaging training materials for both virtual and live training.
  • Build effective knowledge checks, assignments, and evaluations to assess new hire knowledge and retention throughout onboarding and to determine graduation readiness and provide targeted coaching to close skill gaps before full ramp.
  • Partner with E&E Team Lead to design, build, and continually evolve an ongoing education program that sharpens Enrollment Specialists' performance and skills over time, including live training for continuing education and professional development.
  • Informally coach and support training coordinators, helping them grow their own facilitation and coaching skills.
  • Own and maintain the Enrollment Handbook and Learning Management System (LMS), keeping content accurate, current, and easy to access.
  • Create e-learning modules, presentations, SOPs, and job aids that support day-to-day enrollment work.
  • Work with subject matter experts to keep training content accurate as products, workflows, and processes evolve.
  • Support process documentation and knowledge base updates so the team has reliable resources at their fingertips.
  • Partner with Enrollment quality team and Enrollment Specialist Team Leads and Managers to identify trends and training needs across the Enrollment Care Team, translating insights into sharper enablement materials and targeted coaching priorities.
