Education Documentation & Systems Support Volunteer
About The Position
Love Justice International (LJI) is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to fighting injustice, particularly through anti-human trafficking efforts and the care of orphaned and abandoned children. This volunteer role supports LJI's school in South Asia, which serves approximately 230 students. The school focuses on providing a high-quality, student-centered education and supporting its teachers and staff. As the school expands, there is an increasing need for clear documentation, organized resources, and effective systems for teacher training, onboarding, and daily operations. This position aims to strengthen these areas by working with school leadership and administrative staff to review and improve existing documentation, organize resources, and create or refine materials supporting teacher training and school systems. The role is fully remote, with a potential for a short-term visit to South Asia. A minimum commitment of 100 hours is requested.
Requirements
- A strong Christian faith and alignment with Love Justice International’s mission and values
- Experience in education, instructional support, training, administration, documentation, or systems work
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfort working independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a distributed team
- Familiarity with Google Docs, Drive, and shared digital workspaces
- A reliable, self-motivated work style and a willingness to learn

Responsibilities
- Reviewing existing documentation, guides, and resources related to teaching, training, and school systems
- Organizing and improving shared resources (e.g., Google Drive folders, training materials, onboarding documents)
- Helping create or refine teacher training materials, guides, or internal processes
- Supporting the documentation of effective practices already happening on the ground
- Collaborating with school leadership to prioritize and sequence documentation needs
- Providing administrative and systems support that strengthens long-term sustainability
