About The Position

Saint Luke's Hospital is seeking an Education Coordinator to join our Lab Team! The Education Coordinator serves as a leader, advisor, instructor and facilitator of clinical coursework in a laboratory specialty area for the Saint Luke's Hospital Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) Program. Responsible for 4 to 12 credit hours of undergraduate coursework through academic articulations with eight universities. Monitors outcomes to ensure effectiveness of curriculum. Develops strategies to improve performance and maintain program accreditation. Plans, implements, evaluates and modifies curriculum for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Serves as a clinical and educational consultant for SLHS laboratory staff. Promotes professional development and is responsible for discipline-specific staff training, education and competency. Collaborates with educators and leaders and is a resource for students, staff, patients and the community. Maintains discipline-specific bench competency by working at least 25 percent as an MLS at the bench.

  • 1 year Applicable Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
