About The Position

Provide administrative support to the education department. This role involves performing general clerical, receptionist, and project-based work. The assistant may interview new students and prepare their initial Academic Plan, function as the school liaison, and confer with staff, parents, guardians, teachers, therapists, and administrators regarding Academic Plans. The role also includes meeting and greeting residents and visitors, and assisting the Education Director with daily departmental functions. A positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers is essential, along with the ability to acknowledge and resolve complaints when patient needs are not met. Recognizing that patient safety is a top priority is also crucial.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
  • First aid may be required based on state or facility.
