Supporting the Joint Staff, you will help shape the future of Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) for the Armed Forces. You understand that modern military education requires more than policy knowledge—it demands precise coordination, expert analysis, senior-level communication, and mission-focused execution. We’re looking for a seasoned professional with Joint education experience who can navigate complex accreditation processes, senior leader requirements, and multiagency coordination. In this role, you will provide daily support to JPME programs, advise senior leaders, facilitate high-visibility working groups, and contribute to national-level education policy that impacts the entire Joint Force. You will play a central part in analyzing, preparing, coordinating, and evaluating education programs and policy documents, ensuring JPME compliance with Chairman's directives, supporting doctrine and education integration, and enabling the mission of developing world-class joint warfighters. Requirements

  • Experience working with Joint and Service staff organizations, including their functions, missions, and interrelationships
  • Experience collecting and analyzing data, and presenting findings either in written format or verbally at meetings, conferences, and working groups
  • Experience developing surveys, collecting and viewing data, performing data searches and analytical analysis, and generating reports and determining courses of action
  • Experience in Outcomes-based education to advise program and Senior leaders
  • Experience with human capital, data analysis, and professional development
  • Ability to deliver high-quality written and verbal communication to senior military and civilian leaders, including general or flag officer levels
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master’s degree and 4+ years of experience supporting military education or senior-level headquarters organizations, or Doctorate degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as Joint Staff at the field grade or above or a civilian equivalent
  • Experience in JPME as a former student, faculty, or in an institutional effectiveness role
  • Experience developing or assessing Joint Education programs, accreditation materials, and senior-level education policies
  • Experience coordinating with DoD educational institutions, curriculum developers, accreditation bodies, or senior-level working groups
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to communicate complex and highly technical education matters clearly to broad audiences
  • Possession of excellent leadership, organizational, and speaking skills
