This role serves as a primary support for software applications within the Education Shield, requiring an understanding of the business environment and technology's impact. The position involves system analysis, design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of existing systems, as well as managing releases and documentation. The analyst will act as a liaison between business and technical teams, building rapport with customers to understand and resolve their needs and requests for improvements. This includes eliciting and validating requirements, ensuring the developed solution meets stated needs, and maintaining in-depth knowledge of systems and vendor applications. The role also involves project management for small to mid-sized projects, evaluating test plans, and monitoring vendor/application owner relationships. Guidance and training for less experienced staff are expected, along with staying informed about emerging technologies and enterprise architecture (security, privacy, data assurance). Temporary extended hours may be required. This position is a hybrid of remote and on-site work, requiring the individual to live within 100 miles of the Jacksonville, Phoenix, or Rochester Mayo Clinic campuses.
