About The Position

The Education & Training Coordinator is responsible for cultivating and managing strong partnerships with education, training, and Alternative Engagement (AE) providers to ensure successful client enrollment and outcomes. This position facilitates client referrals, tracks engagement metrics, and supports wraparound services to ensure that PACE clients achieve long-term educational and employment goals. The coordinator will align training and education pathways with client career goals and ensure compliance with programmatic standards and funder expectations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Education, another related field or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Experience working with public assistance recipients, homelessness, justice involvement, individuals with disabilities/or those affected by challenges associated with unemployment and under employment preferred.
Experience in job development, human resources or employer relations, and workforce development.
Bilingual -Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Establish working relationships with existing education, training, and Alternative Engagement (AE) providers and become familiar with all approved referral pathways.
Begin conducting client consultations and education/training referrals under supervision.
Demonstrate proficiency in FedcapCARES, SEAMS, and all required documentation procedures.
Maintain documentation with a minimum of 95% accuracy while learning program processes.
Independently manage provider relationships and client referrals.
Conduct at least 20 client consultations per month and consistently maintain referral activity.
Ensure at least 90% of referred clients attend their first provider appointment.
Maintain timely documentation and communication with Case Managers and providers.
Meet all monthly reporting requirements with minimal supervisory support.
Achieve full productivity and independently perform all essential job functions while meeting the following ongoing performance standards:
Partner with at least 15 active education, training, and Alternative Engagement (AE) providers each quarter, ensuring referrals align with client skills, interests, and career goals.
Conduct a minimum of 20 client consultations per month to discuss education, training, and AE opportunities and make appropriate referrals.
Ensure 95% of referred clients attend their first appointment with an AE provider, with 85% successfully enrolling in the assigned program.
Secure enrollment documentation for 100% of participating clients within 5 business days of enrollment confirmation.
Maintain bi-weekly communication with each AE provider to monitor client progress, resolve barriers, and support an 80% program completion rate among enrolled participants.
Share client progress updates with Case Managers within 2 business days of receiving new information or identifying potential concerns.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive provider resource guide, updated quarterly, with at least 5 new or enhanced provider partnerships each quarter.
Facilitate a minimum of 2 client information sessions per month highlighting education, training, and Alternative Engagement opportunities.
Coordinate at least 1 partner-led presentation per month to increase client awareness of available programs and career pathways.
Conduct a minimum of 6 provider site visits each quarter to evaluate service quality, compliance, and partnership effectiveness.
Monitor client attendance on a weekly basis and intervene within 3 business days following any unexcused absence.
Submit the monthly Education and Training Report to HRA with 100% accuracy and by all required deadlines.
Update FedcapCARES and SEAMS within 2 business days of any education or training assignment, enrollment, completion, or status change, maintaining 99% documentation accuracy.
Provide wraparound support services to at least 90% of Alternative Engagement clients through tutoring, application assistance, academic coaching, transportation coordination, or other supportive services.
Evaluate employment and career goals during retention services for 100% of assigned clients to ensure continued alignment with long-term career advancement and self-sufficiency.
Achieve and maintain 100% compliance with NYC HRA requirements, Fedcap policies, contractual obligations, documentation standards, and program quality expectations.
Meet or exceed all departmental productivity standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established by program leadership.
