About The Position

The Education and Credentialing Chapter Specialist serves as the primary liaison between APWA and its chapters to advance education, credentialing, and workforce development initiatives. This role fosters a two-way collaborative partnership with chapters to understand their needs, elevate local initiatives, and align APWA resources and programs to deliver high-value education and credentialing opportunities. The position works in close collaboration with the Chapter Services team to ensure a coordinated, consistent, and member-focused approach. The ideal candidate will have exemplary customer service and relationship building skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, be well versed in and able to efficiently use various technology and be comfortable in a fast-paced setting working with a wide variety of internal and external customers.

Requirements

Associate’s degree
3 years of experience in program support and project management
Customer/member service focused
Excellent technology and communication skills

Association experience is welcome but not required.
