The EDM Specialist will have opportunity to work on advanced equipment including 3, 4 & 5-axis CNC machines, Swiss turning, and several different Wire EDM machines in a clean, climate-controlled facility.

Requirements

3+ years of wire EDM experience in a job shop environment
Strong programming skills with ability to monitor and adapt software
Strong math, blueprint reading, and communication skills
Ability to multitask and run multiple machines
Must be a U.S. citizen

Nice To Haves

Espirit programming knowledge and Mitsubishi wire EDM experience a plus
Journeyman’s card in CNC and/or tool making also a plus

Responsibilities

Create and load programs into machine(s), making adjustments as needed
Advanced part setup to run components through the wire EDM machines per print
Program 4 axis and solid modeled parts
Produce parts off the wire EDM machines per print having knowledge of axis rotation
Clean and maintain machines for expanded life capacity
Read and understand blueprints and G&M codes
Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts
Run multiple machines and complete production documentation
Support LEAN, 5S, ISO 9001-2015, and ISO 13485 initiatives
