Editorial Intern (PCMag)
About The Position
PCMag is seeking energetic, motivated individuals looking to develop their careers in digital media. If you’re looking for an opportunity to geek out on the latest technology, learn how we test and review products, and help deliver industry-leading tech buying advice, news, and service journalism, this is the place for you. This is a chance to work alongside the smartest writers and editors in the business, learn the systems we use, and get a better understanding of our brand, mission, and business model. Interns will benefit from hands-on experience working with team leaders on valuable projects that move our company forward. Internships are geared toward individuals in the early stages of their career path who have a foundational knowledge of the industry and some experience and interest relevant to the specific role for which they are applying. Interns have an initial term of three months; all roles are paid.
Requirements
- Availability to work 20-29 hours per week
- Exceptional communication skills
- Demonstrable writing and/or editing experience (beyond classwork)
- A strong affinity for technology
- A willingness to learn
- Self-motivated, with the adaptability to pitch in where and when needed

Nice To Haves
- Published writing samples are a huge plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with product testing and draft reviews under editorial guidance
- Write news and longer-form articles on the latest tech products and services, along with how-to and tips stories
- Participate in the editing process and assist with proofreading and formatting stories
- Work on other editorial projects as needed
