About The Position

Flow is reimagining living, working, and connecting through a brand, technology platform, and operations ecosystem. The Editorial & Content Project Manager will be central to bringing the company's story to life across various channels, including a bi-monthly print magazine, a newsletter, a print shop, and other content platforms. This role requires a blend of editorial skill and operational discipline, managing content from conception to publication, coordinating timelines, creatives, vendors, and partners. The ideal candidate is a versatile generalist comfortable with writing, editing, production schedules, and cross-functional coordination, ensuring high quality and momentum in all published content.

Requirements

  • Experience across editorial, content, and project management, likely from a magazine, independent publisher, editorial newsletter, content studio, or lifestyle brand.
  • A strong writing portfolio, including features, newsletters, and headlines.
  • Direct experience supporting or managing print production, including working with printers and holding timelines.
  • Comfort managing content calendars across multiple channels and coordinating with cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Familiarity with the operational side of editorial work, including newsletter platforms and project management tools.
  • A sharp editorial eye and clear point of view.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and steady under pressure.
  • Collaborative, generous, and ego-light.
  • Deep alignment with Flow’s ethos of telling stories that help people feel less alone.

  • Basic e-commerce workflows (Shopify experience a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end editorial process for the bi-monthly print magazine, The Flow Trip, from concept to printed issue.
  • Write 4-5 features per issue for The Flow Trip.
  • Manage the printing relationship, schedule, and production process.
  • Contribute to shaping the editorial direction of each issue.
  • Manage guest contributors from pitch to payment and post-print promotion.
  • Write three newsletters per week for Afternoon Delight, maintaining a consistent voice.
  • Lead organic content planning across editorial and digital channels, building a cohesive calendar.
  • Support broader company copy needs, including landing pages, campaigns, and internal communications.
  • Serve as a steward of Flow’s editorial voice.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of The Flow Print Shop, including inventory, fulfillment, and product launches.
  • Partner with creative and merchandising teams on product storytelling for The Flow Print Shop.
  • Support partnership outreach and collaboration, including pitch development and deliverable coordination.
  • Lead the operations for Flow’s annual Photo Contest.
  • Coordinate Flow Trip-related collaborations and cross-functional editorial initiatives.
