ACMG is seeking an inaugural Editor-in-Chief (EIC) to lead Genetics in Medicine Translational Genomics (GIM TG), a new open access journal launching in 2027. GIM TG is dedicated to translating genomic discoveries into clinical practice and therapeutics, and will serve as a global forum at the interface of genomics and medicine. GIM TG is an official ACMG journal and companion to Genetics in Medicine and Genetics in Medicine Open. The inaugural EIC will serve alongside the Editors-in-Chief of the companion journals as part of ACMG's integrated publications leadership team. The journal will publish Original Research, Reviews, Commentaries, Case Reports, Clinical Utility Studies, and Methods & Protocols, and welcomes Negative Data. As inaugural EIC, you will shape GIM TG from launch—defining its editorial voice, building its global editorial community, and establishing it as a high-impact, internationally recognized publication. Candidates with strong networks beyond North America are especially encouraged to apply.
