eDiscovery Legal Specialist II Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. The eDiscovery Legal Specialist II will be responsible for managing the end-to-end electronic discovery process in support of litigation, regulatory matters and investigations. This role ensures defensible, efficient, and compliant handling of electronically stored information (ESI), working closely with Legal, IT and external counsel to preserve, collect, process, review, and produce data. How you will make an impact: eDiscovery Management Manage the full EDRM (Electronic Discovery Reference Model) lifecycle: identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, analysis, and production. Assist with legal hold implementation, tracking, and release processes. Conduct custodian interviews and data source assessments. Collect data from email, file shares, cloud platforms, collaboration tools, and enterprise systems. Data Processing & Review Support Process data using the internal eDiscovery platform. Perform quality control on processed data and productions. Create and manage review workspaces, user permissions, and workflows. Assist with the development of search terms, analytics workflows, and reporting metrics. Production & Compliance Prepare and validate productions in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements. Ensure defensibility and chain of custody documentation. Maintain documentation of workflows, decisions, and processes for audit readiness. Stakeholder Collaboration Serve as liaison between Legal, IT, Compliance, Information Security, and external vendors. Support outside counsel with case strategy through technical expertise. Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on eDiscovery best practices. Risk Management & Governance Assist in developing and maintaining eDiscovery policies and procedures. Identify opportunities to reduce risk, cost, and inefficiencies in the discovery process. Stay current on evolving legal standards, privacy regulations, and technology trends.
