About The Position

C3 Industries is a multi-state, vertically integrated cannabis company headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with multiple product brands including the award-winning Cloud Cover Cannabis, Galactic Cannabis, Habitat Cannabis, and a retail network, High Profile Cannabis Shop. The company retails high-quality cannabis products at its High Profile locations in Connecticut, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Massachusetts, and New Jersey. We are looking for an edibles technician who will be responsible for managing and reporting on the company’s Infused Products line while effectively managing the productivity, tracking, and compliance of all infused products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
• Familiarity with kitchen production procedures.
• Basic weights and measurement skills, ability to operate kitchen equipment.
• Ability to complete works in a timely manner and continually strive to increase productivity.
• Ability to work with a team as well as independently.
• Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in food production or kitchen environment strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Support the Supervisor and Lead with prepping, cooking and depositing of facility consumables and products on a regular basis.
• Accurately prepare ingredients, workstations, and equipment for production.
• Correctly infuse by accurately weighing and thoroughly mixing ingredients
• Ensure proper storage of all facility consumables and products; Store food products in compliance with safety standards.
• Perform visual quality inspections on products with regularity; Focus on waste minimization and reduction, as possible.
• Accurately read, record, and communicate all kitchen data including product counts, product measurements, and product weights.
• Ensure that the production department is clean and sanitary every day. Equipment and tools are cleaned and sanitized. Floors are cleaned, scraped and mopped daily. All surfaces are cleaned and sanitized the start and end of every day.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work environment
• Maintain compliance with state regulations, enforce company policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
