About The Position

This role is for an Edible Kitchen position within a cannabis-infused production environment. The position requires adherence to strict legal, health, safety, and operational standards specific to the cannabis industry.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older at the time of hire.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must pass all required state and company background screenings.
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions (mixing, scooping, packaging) safely.
  • Ability to tolerate hot ovens, humid coating rooms, and cold storage environments.
  • Ability to work in a production setting with food-grade oils, flavorings, and cannabis concentrates.
  • Must wear hairnets, gloves, aprons, beard nets, and closed-toe slip-resistant shoes at all times in production areas.
  • Must follow all PPE changing and sanitizing procedures between zones (raw vs. finished product).
  • Must wash and sanitize hands as required by SOPs and health code.
  • Must keep work surfaces clean and free of contamination at all times.
  • Must follow OSHA safety guidelines and internal safety training.
  • Must immediately report injuries, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues.
  • Ability to measure ingredients accurately using scales, cups, and measuring spoons.
  • Understanding of proper ingredient storage (dry, refrigerated, frozen).
  • Ability to follow SOPs exactly with no unauthorized changes to recipes or processes.
  • Ability to accurately scale batch sizes and calculate yields.
  • Ability to operate, clean, and maintain mixers, ovens, depositors, demolding equipment, sanding machines, and packaging lines.
  • Ability to follow lockout/tagout procedures when cleaning or troubleshooting machinery.
  • Ability to check for proper texture, appearance, and dosing of all products.
  • Ability to document and report any deviations or defects.
  • Ability to complete batch records accurately and in full.
  • Ability to record waste amounts and reasons according to SOP.
  • Ability to maintain compliance logs for METRC or other seed-to-sale tracking systems.
  • Ability to handle cannabis extracts, oils, and distillates according to potency and safety protocols.
  • Ability to verify correct dosing during production to ensure compliance with state THC limits per serving and per package.
  • Ability to maintain chain-of-custody records for all cannabis materials handled.
  • Understanding and ability to follow packaging/labeling requirements.
  • Ability to prevent cross-contamination between cannabis and non-cannabis areas/products.
  • Ability to arrive on time and ready to work at scheduled shift start.
  • Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally with all team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently and respectfully as a team.
  • Ability to follow supervisor instructions and provide feedback when needed.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
