About The Position

The Senior EDI Analyst will be responsible for enabling and managing EDI for multiple locations. This role will handle EDI trading partner setup requests, analyze requirements, and create envelopes, connections, maps, and other objects as necessary to facilitate automatic translation and transmission of data to and from RealTruck ERP systems. This position will troubleshoot and maintain existing setups and trading partner relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with preferred concentration in Computer Science or MIS or equivalent experience, required.
  • 5+ years of experience working as an EDI analyst, must have experience creating mapping documents, required.
  • 2+ years of experience working with ERP systems, required.
  • 2+ years working with X12 documents, experience in the automotive industry a strong plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in EDI Development, SQL or scripting experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with XML files and standard EDI documents.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to create and execute project plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with a broad spectrum of team members.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze EDI and ERP data related issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the automotive industry a strong plus.
  • SQL or scripting experience a plus.
  • Experience in STEDI and B2B preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement new maps, business processes, and interfaces for intercompany and customer facing EDI.
  • Manage and maintain B2B Integrator application (patches, upgrades, etc.) in a Windows Server environment.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain the EDI Dashboard.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, customers, suppliers, business analysts, and trading partners to establish EDI connections.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new partners inclusive of spec acquisition and unique requirements.
  • Working with the IT Director, prioritize the EDI project queue to ensure that projects are properly sequenced and distributed.
  • Monitor and oversee the processing of EDI documents, such as purchase orders, invoices, and shipping notifications.
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues that arise during document exchange.
  • Identify and address technical problems, errors, or discrepancies related to EDI transactions.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues promptly to prevent disruptions in business operations.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams and external partners on EDI processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Address inquiries and offer guidance on using the EDI system effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the EDI system.
  • Streamline workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of EDI processes, configurations, and communication protocols.
  • Facilitate effective communication between different departments and external partners involved in EDI transactions.
  • Act as a liaison to address any communication gaps or misunderstandings.
  • Generate reports and analytics related to EDI transactions, performance, and trends.
  • Provide insights to management for decision-making and process optimization.
